I'm Helen Bradley, an expatriate
Australian writer of Photoshop, photography, computer and general craft articles.

I live in California and I write cool hands-on tutorials and host videos teaching how to take photos, use Photoshop and Lightroom, and make crafts. That's what life should be about - having fun - and my job is all about fun.

I write heaps of columns each month and make lots of how to videos too. I teach how to take great photos and how to fix not so great photos. I also design paper craft and jewelry projects for some wonderful craft magazines and of course, I write articles on computer software. For something different I also write travel articles.

My columns appear in some of the world's best and biggest magazines and websites: from the US to the UK, Australia and Canada and beyond.

I love what I do, and I do what I love. I've turned what was my hobby: Photoshop, Lightroom, photography, computers and crafts, into a job.

In the past few years I've travelled to photograph in UK, France, Italy, Amsterdam, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Australia. My "next stops" list has Bangkok, India and Greece on it.

For recreation I see heaps of movies at the local art house cinema and I read trashy novels. I watch more movies at home on my PC than I care to admit to (thanks Netflix and BBC iPlayer!), I play with polymer clay and altered art, I read and study art. I've also been known to write short fiction.
